I’m super-excited to be over half way through training to run my first half marathon on my 33rd birthday, but what I want more than anything is to raise $1000 to provide Google Adwords support to our Polish, Bolivian, and Guatemalan church online partners. These teams are already seeing solid attendance at their weekly online churches and adding Google Adwords campaigns to the projects will mean we can attract and minister to many more people seeking God online.

…Slovakia! Some of you might know our family spent a special week in the home of Pastor Milan Presburger two summers ago. Pastor Milan officiated a renewal of our wedding vows on our anniversary (see pic below), and our families share a love for good food and coffee, the experience of adoption, and a passion for global evangelism. In 2010 my husband Chris returned to Slovakia to provide video training for Milan (see pic below), and I’ve had the opportunity in recent months to provide training and preparation for Milan and his team via Skype.
By receiving donations from people just like you, my non-profit organization BlueDoor.tv provided funding and training for this project to take shape. I am thrilled to know that in a short time people in Slovakia who are seeking God but are not yet comfortable attending a local church will have the unique opportunity to hear the hope of Christ online.
Please join me in praying for Pastor Milan and his team as they face spiritual attack and enter the final weeks of detailed preparation for their online church’s launch.

My dream to form online churches in other languages began to take shape on the balcony of a hotel room in Guatemala City in 2007. As you can imagine, it’s especially dear to my heart for our non-profit organization, BlueDoor.tv, to have funded and trained the team for last week’s launch in Guatemala!
Around 50 people attended from many different countries, and 2 people committed their lives to Christ last week during the ComunidadGlobal.tv Spanish services. (Note: Comunidad Global translates to “Global Community” in English.)
Here’s a message I received from my BlueDoor.tv partner in Guatemala following the service that explains so well the joy of online ministry:
I couldn’t help my tears roll down my face when I saw the 2 hands – 2 people accepting Christ right where they were!!!! I believe this is God’s answer to hundreds of prayers to Expand the Kingdom of God through technologies that would reach people who hadn’t been reached yet, and that so many good people have wanted to reach for so many years!
Thank you Bluedoor! Thank you Dana and Team! We cannot express how grateful we are for this wonderful opportunity and for partnering with you. Thank you for believing that God can do great things through Comunidad Global.

This week I want to discuss the temptation to strive in every area of our lives.
God’s added over 150 new partners in more than 40 different countries to the BlueDoor.tv family in the past 2 months. It’s incredible! What’s interesting to me is that as interest has increased, donations to run the non-profit’s expanding programs have not. I’ve regularly posted opportunities for people to donate to our cause of sharing the Gospel online in many languages with little response. As our need grew (and my energy faded) last month, I sensed God telling me to take a break. So while I drastically cut back my hours, God led people to give and provided precisely the amount of money we needed this month without one single phone call, email, or tweet asking for help.
Striving can lead to strife. What will you let go of today so that God may provide?
I’m still emotional about having witnessed Wednesday night’s launch of Spanish Church Online in Bolivia. My Blue Door partners Carlos Alberto and Esteban did a top-quality, excellent job leading the experience from production to ministry.
The chat was busy and comprised of people from 8 different countries, the worship music was incredible, and the message was powerful. The Gospel was clearly shared, and at the end of the hour, 16 people committed their lives to Christ.
I am speechless. This is fruit born of a dream that began as a tiny seed planted in my heart on the balcony of a hotel room in Guatemala City in 2007. May people everywhere hear God’s word in their native languages when they seek Him online.
This is only the beginning, friends. Thank you for donating to bring about eternal change.

I receive weekly and monthly reports from the BlueDoor.tv partners we’ve provided funding to around the world. Imagine my joy to read yesterday’s report from Kosciol Online in Poland:
They’ve had a record 2403 unique visitors in the month of May, just 15 months after launching.
They sent Bibles, books, and worship CDs to new believers in these cities: Bielsk Podlaski, Rabka, Stalowa Wola, Szlichtyngowa, Krakow, Gdańsk.
Let’s face it – you probably couldn’t find these cities on a map. But God can. And He cares deeply for each person who received one of these kits after taking a chance by seeking to learn more about Him online.

Church teams often tell me they want to have an online community. That’s wonderful! But they’re sometimes surprised when I say that it will take time (think months, not weeks) to see this take shape. Even though people will have immediate access to your Facebook page, many will observe before diving in. (Take, for example, my local church’s Facebook page. I’ve been creating steady content for it for a few months now, and we’ve seen some good traction in past weeks, yet it’s been consistency and taking the time to provide personal responses and invitations that is providing the best growth.)
Be sure you have content (not too much, please!) and invite people to engage in various ways. It’s a good practice to keep your eye on some of the most popular Facebook pages out there to observe and learn as well:
NOTICE: Many top Facebook pages (both ranked by number of fans and interaction on the page) are simply created around themes (sleeping, pizza, a popular TV show, a favorite subject). This is a great way to engage people around a common interest who may or may not be in the Church.
